For unng bli skadet i stormer valgte vennegjengen bade i Stamsund havn. S si bader de uansett vr.

Wensday at 09.30 it was held something called ?Morgenbad med Gud?. In connection with this we then interviewed Guri Ingebritsen who has started this. She told us that they have had the morning bath in many years. The morning bath began a long time ago on a beautiful summerday when a group of friends decided to bath in the ocean. Since it was a hot summer they continued the morning baths everyday. And since they bathed so many times it started to be a habit. They did the morning bath till autumn. But when the winter was coming Guri said she wasn?t going to continue the morning baths any longer, because it was going to be too cold in the ocean and in the air. After she heard her friends continued taking their usually morning bath she began again with the morning bath. Dau out and day in whatever the weather was. And after that they did the morning bath every day, also in storm and bad weather. To avoid being hurt in storms, the group chose to swim in Stamsund harbor. However, they take a bath whatever the weather was like.

The Great Outdoors - Review (spoilers)

English:

Tuesday at 18.30 we watched the performance The Great Outdoors which is held at Teater Nor in Stamsund. The performance lasts about 50 minutes from start to finish. The Great Outdoors is made by Annie Dorsen. There was about 20 people who saw this. It. This was an amazing performance that early separates it from other performances. One thing you may had noticed was the colours, the colours were variable and uniq. How this performance separates it from others were that you didnt just sit there and watch the show, but you were included in the show. We layed down on the floor and looked at the roof. Then it came light in the roof and this reminded us of stars in the sky. Before we went to the performance our exceptions were that we thought we was going to sit at chairs/benches, but when we came we had to lay at the floor. At the end we got a little dizzy but we didnt mind it, this was because of there were much lights and sound. Weve never seen something like this, this was a whole new experience.

NOT recommended for epileptics!

Norwegian:

Tirsdag kl. 18.30. s vi forestilligen The Great Outdoors som ble holdt p Teater Nor i Stamsund. Forestillingen varer 50 minutter fra start til slutt. The Great Outdoors er laget av Annie Dorsen.

Jan Fedinger: I used to live in Helsinki and its facinating to see the northen light and also its many other things and you can see extra circles over the sun that you can see. And its different clear sky that makes other experiences. And on this show you can actually hear the sound that i added a couple of years ago. And then i was talking to Sissel that it would be nice to make something for Stamsund. And someone would come back and talk about the experience about the Midnight sun here in Stamsund.

Beemont: Did you do the land(e)scape last time you was here?

Interview With Jacob Brindamour (Tricyckle)

Talking with the actor of "Tricyckle"

Antipoetisk

Hei!

Translation:

Hi!

We were at Galleri 2 for one and a half hour with 1 and 2 grade from Opdl montessoriskole. We started with seeing a movie about two football teams from Iran which played to be the best in the country. The woman that recorded the movie couldn`t go inside the stadium because she was a woman. After the football match the people danced in the streets on their way home. The kids at the gallery were allowed to dance like the people in the movie. Afterwards Roghieh Asgari Torvund showed them her paintings and asked what they saw in them. Later they walked up to the second level where there was a big paper on the floor and more paintings on the wall. They got inspiration from Roghieh`s paintings then they sat down around the big paper and they painted on the big paper together. When they got finished with the painting we asked the kids what they think of the day at Galleri 2 and if they wanted to come back. They only had positive responses.

Hi guys!

Yesterday we were on a theater piece with Svarholt school, called the tricyckle. It was a little wierd because we did not quite understand it. We were placed on some black benches. When a man started cycling on a tricyckle, we realized that the show was going on. The man did a lot of different things both on and off the bike, this was something we had never seen before, some of the audience said it was magical. The show lasted about 60 minutes. After the show, we shared some papers where the students would write one or more comments on what they would remember most about it. We certainly mean that its worth seeing!

keep up on the interview that is coming soon!

Land(e)scape

Hei folkens,

Hello guys,

Today we have been at a lightshow called Land (e) scape.  When we entered we were told what would happen and what we should do. Then we were led into a tunnel that led us to a dark room filled with smoke. we could barely see. Suddenly different lights began to flash. It was a weird eperience, when the room was dark you where left with your own thoughts. then suddenly the room was lit up and you could see aigain. The show lasted about 30 minutes, maximum four people at a time, and there is a new show every 45 minutes. We recomend the show to everybody. Tomorrow its the last day of the show so we recommend seeing it before its too late. What we liked about the show was the experience and the lights. it was a grate show in general!

Ps. not reccomended if you are epeleptic.

Review of "Kunsten vekke dde fluer til live"

Photo: Eskil Wie

Eventually the fly fisher begin to talk to the psychologist about his obbsession for flyfishing, which ends up with the psychologist being bitten by this so-called fly fishing bug

Review: "Kunsten vekke dde fluer" is about how deeply dependent one can become by the loved hobby named fly-fishing. The play is created and performed by Stein Hiller Elvestad. Elvestad tells a story of the life of a fly fisherman. The fisherman have to go to a shrink, something his not very excited about, because he is losing a lot of valuable fishing time.Eventually the fly fisher begin to talk to the psychologist about his obbsession, which ends up with the psychologist himself being bitten by this so-called fly fishing bug

The play got a lot of praise from the audience for their originality and there were very many fishermen who recognized themselves in it he talked about

Review of Wakka Wakkas "Sirkus Stig og Henny"

Translation

Review: Today we were at the figure theater to watch Wakka Wakkas production of " Sirkus Stig and Henny ". The show is about the couple Stig and Henny who owns the world's best insect-circus . The circus include the ant acrobats led by Maurizio Mauratelli from San Maurino, The grasshopper cannonball Hopalong Gressidy, Svanti the faithful mascot, Paulina the line dancing caterpillar and the world most poisonous spider:  The tiger spider.

All in all, this was an incredibly sweet performance with a creative plot , charming characters that I think both adult and children can enjoy.

The opening of the festival!

Translation: The theater festival started with the Vestvagy Culture Schools production of Aladdin and when one came out the brass band stood ready and drummed. Suddenly two clowns appeared and followed us in the parade. When the brass band started the parade moved down J. M Johannsensvei to Skjrbrygga where the official opening of the festival took place.

The day had been rainy but when the theater manager Torbjrn Gabrielsen welcomed everyone the weather got better. First out was a dance group from  the refugee center who performed a beautiful dance. Then it was the mayor of Vestvgy turn who gave us a sparkling speech that made people aware of the importance of the festival. The mayor was overjoyed when he got a good bottle of wine by the festival director. The festival director concluded the sequence with a poem where he praised the Stamsund for its generosity and beauty.

Review of "Ash"

Foto: David Lejard Ruffet

***

Review after seeing "Aske" (Ash).

Aske is inspired by the prize-winning novel "fr jeg brenner ned" (Before i burn to the ground) by Gaute Heivold, about a young pyromaniac which ravaged in a village called Finsland. It is presented by Plexus Polaire which is led by the Norwegian Ynvild Aspeli and practitioners from Norway, France and Spain.

Aske was a piece plaged by drama, excitement and the experience was pretty brutal. Aske is a very tense performance which is exploring a young human beings balance and health between insanity and normal. In the performance  you can see a poet who is trying to write about his challenging and dramatic childhood, and who sees himself in diffrent spectres as he tries to retell his experiences. This is being dramatised with different puppets, which "come to life" with the help of light and sound effects.

Galleri 2

Translation: Hello, today Dina and Emma visited Gallery 2 to snap some pictures of the exhibition. This year, Gallery 2 has collaborated with Hilde Hauan and Co with "The Stitch Protject". The Stitch Protject is a 4-year international art cooperation that was founded by seven artists from Sweden, Iceland, Palestine, Brazil and Norway. The project invite audiences to dialogue and activity, so if you stop by you can take part in stitching the 10 meter long table cloth, dye plants in the garden or spin yarn

It was a nice exhibition with an interesting story and it was fun to see the different "drawings" that had been embroidered on the cloth. The exhibition is open throughout the festival so you should definitely stop by the Gallery 2 if you get the chance.
